‘BUSINESS HOUR’ TO BOOK BAPTISMS AND WEDDINGS

We are in a parish vacancy (no vicar of our own) and are relying on visiting clergy.  But weddings and baptisms can still be booked.  We have a “Business Hour” each MONDAY EVENING 5pm—6pm in St. Mary’s Church Centre (located behind St. Mary’s church) for Baptism or Wedding enquiries and any other matters concerning parish activities.

This applies to both the churches of St. Mary's Dalton and St. Peter’s Ireleth.

The new Baptismal policy is for Baptism services to be the first Sunday each month only, at 12.30pm, with families having to share the service with other families.  For this reason we ask for families to think carefully about the number of people invited—we suggest only family members and close friends to the church (20-30 in number).  This will make the service more pleasurable for everyone involved.
