About us |
|
St. Mary’s is an imposing sandstone building 1882-1885 to the design of Paley and Austen in a spectacular elevated position behind Dalton Castle and Market Place in a decorated style with a tall West Tower having ten bells. In 1980 a church centre was built. GEORGE ROMNEY, the artist, is buried in the churchyard here. |
